Prior to college, Julie spent a year at Holtville High School in Alabama as an exchange student, where she stood out with averages of 21.9 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 2.6 blocks and earned First Team All-State honors and was a finalist for 5A Player of the Year.
Coach Gerlich describes her as a winner with high basketball IQ and a tough mismatch at forward who rebounds and finishes efficiently at the rim.
Off the court, Julie was born in 2004 and enjoys traveling, running, watching movies, and listening to music. She aspires to pursue a career in nursing after her playing days.
