About Tracer

Tracer stepped into the Red Raiders’ infield and quickly became a central figure. As a sophomore in 2024, he started 44 of 55 games at shortstop, playing a key role in Texas Tech’s defensive alignment and batting .268 with four home runs and 31 RBIs. He hit .299 against Big 12 opponents and made history by homering in back to back games at Kansas State. His collegiate debut included a multi-hit game and a home run in his second start.

Before college, Tracer was a standout at C.H. Yoe High School in Cameron, Texas, where he led Class 3A with a .541 average, 61 hits, 45 stolen bases, 10 doubles, six triples, 51 runs scored, and 30 RBIs. He earned All State Elite honors and district MVP, demonstrating speed and bat-to-ball skills.

Known for his athleticism, energy, and reliable glove work up the middle, Tracer also brings speed and smart baserunning. He’s often featured near the bottom of the lineup, serving as a spark plug for the offense.

Off the field, Tracer is majoring in University Studies and stays connected to his roots in Temple and Rosebud. He brings hometown pride and work ethic into the clubhouse, contributing to both the team’s culture and its competitive fire.
