Even when he’s playing on the field, Safety Dadrion “Rabbit” Taylor-Demerson doesn’t play around. This past year he ranked as Tech’s highest-ranked player in terms of coverage, grading out at 80.2 overall, and led the Red Raiders in interceptions. Those interceptions are some of his favorite moments of his career, and as Red Raider fans, we have to echo that sentiment.

Originally hailing from Davis, Oklahoma, Dadrion knew he wanted to be a Red Raider for the community and family atmosphere that exists between the football players and coaches. When he’s not on the field, working out, or studying, he enjoys being out and about in the Lubbock community. You’ve probably seen him bowling, spending time with his teammates, watching the latest Marvel movie, or eating at Jazz Louisiana Kitchen, his favorite Lubbock restaurant.

As a Dark Horse Ambassador, Dadrion wants to bring the same intensity and passion he has on the field to any work he gets to do with local businesses and organizations. He’s grateful for the support he receives from the Red Raider community, and he’s excited to build partnerships that benefit the same people who cheer him on every weekend.
