At first glance, Parker Kelly looks like just a super nice, regular guy. Then you see him on the field at third base, and realize this guy is an intense, lethal fielding machine. With a .957 fielding percentage in the 2022 season, as well as 82 assists and 27 extra base hits, Parker is proof that nice guys make great baseball players. He proves that every time he steps on the field, but it was particularly memorable to watch him do so when he hit three home runs in one game and tied the school single-game record with 9 RBIs. He’s also helped Tech make it to Omaha not once, but twice during his career here.

When he’s not on the field or studying to complete his Sports Management Degree, Parker enjoys being outside, preferably hunting or spending time at the lake listening to Texas Country (a past time we can fully support). He’s a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and loves anything to do with Michael Jordan. In Lubbock, his favorite spot for dinner is the patio at Las Brisas (preferably on a not windy day). When it comes to local brands he wants to partner with, Parker is wide open to any possibility; however, he has a heart for organizations that give back to the Lubbock community.
